RENZO in my EYES

some people who only by chance had read our blog asks "who is renzo?"... ahh..another personal blog for people who wants to flaunt... or maybe, a young soldier? a christian soldier? is there such a thing?...or perhaps a blog wanting some sympathy?a writer trying to unburden his soul and make others carry his burden?the questions are endless...so, let's start getting to know our RENZO...be our guest and in the end, be our friend :)

in the BEGINNING...

DAN RENZO YNGUINE VILLANO GARCINEZ ...what a long name! but before our little one got his name, with pride i want to tell you peepz that i was the "choosen one"... the first human (next to the medical staff, ofcourse!)to ever hold the so pink and long baby with such a BIG mouth!ha hah!..so cute and crying out loud.. i got so excited and terrified because he's the first ever new born i'm going to carry in my arms!nayks..baka mahulog (afraid!afraid!)...but before we get lost let's go back :)
DAN from our father's name (danilo)
RENZO from i dont know..hehe..let's ask his mother (shella marie)
YNGUINE ahhh...i love this part for i was given the honor to give our baby a unique name. i was tasked actually to put together letters to produce a unique spelled name b'coz that was the trend then :)
VILLANO of course that's our family name
GARCINEZ and that's his father's family name....

i love calling our baby "big mouth" not only bcoz he has such a big mouth, his voice and cries would fill the hospital hall as well... by the way, he came to this world on September 03, 1994 at Baptist Hospital in General Santos City. Ahem, i just realized now, Renzo was born in Baptist Hospital but they weren't Baptist yet then...but the Lord knows he will be one, someday :)

so, was Renzo a sickly baby? No, sir! Renzo was a healthy, healthy baby!his parents didn't went through the middle of the night trips to the hospital...he's always a well baby. infact he was hospitalized only once, when he was poisoned by the grapes he ate...that was just that.there was never a time that Renzo was ever hospitalized again..

RENZO baby, the tomato boy...our baby was never a junk food addict...while his playmates munches on "sitsirya" our little one was munching tomatoes, garlic at times and onions sometimes...whoah!!! pipino was also a favorite and carrots..hehe...don't we wish all kiddos will be healthy eaters and not picky ones?!?

RENZO the gifted child... i remember wishing then that if i would have a child somedayi want a baby like renzo.he's so little but knows so much! he's a sucker for numbers and puzzles and logics...whatever he hears or see or learn from others he would digest, disect and think about it...most aften, experiment about it and apply it!!! one time i told him, let's get all your lice so the mother wouldn't bring (flew) you off in a far away land...the next time i know, he pulled all his hair in that area so the lice wouldn't have a palce to breed on...hahayzzz!!!my shock!!!

RENZO the responsible kuya...renzo was just a year or so older than his baby sis eloisa...but when they were both still toddlers he would take care of bebeh(his name for baby sis)..he would teach her to be "madiskarte", how to urinate standing..hahaha! he would bring her to their neighbor's house if nightfall comes and the parents are still not around...he would teach her to climb the kitchen counter and eat from the "kaldero" if they get so hungry and their father is not yet done with his preaching...he would teach his siblings later on to hide their viand under their rice when there are so many people around and there will be times nothing will be left for them to eat...he would scold eloisa if she goes anywhere with out telling where she's going (lakwatsa)...and if she puts on so many accessories or wear clothes that to him is not appropriate...i remember one night he went to my house and told me his siblngs are hungry.they have cooked rice but no viand.ok i said what viand do you want?his eyes sparked and with a big smile said SARDINAS po tita! my heart!!! how many i asked...he said just one tita, ok na po.ahh, one big?i asked again. renzo replied, no tita, only one small po, baka wala na po kayong pera..(you might not have enough money left)...my heart was crying...ok let's go together i told him...so off he went to buy one small can of sardines and i went to their Patronage...when he came back he told his siblings "it's party time, we have sardines!yeheeeyyyy!!!!let's eat!!! and he called not only his siblings but the church workers as well....renzo shared the one small can of sardines to his 3 siblings and 5 church workers..he was only 9 or 10 years old then...but he has the heart of all adult members combined...of course i made them buy some more sardines...would you not???

more on RENZO next time peepz...
