Barely 3 days after removing the supposed to be permanent VP shunt

"Just as when He performs one miracle, He assures us He is not yet finished displaying the arsenal of His power. We bow before His throne! ' ( another inspiring text message we received from Ptr. Potts )
Just barely 3 days after undergoing an emergency removal of his supposed permanent VP Shunt last Sat. Renzo started reciting memory verses,singing some of his favorite hymns,reviewing his T.Viet vocabulary & playing the guitar ( a gift from Ma'am Lawry - his evening duty nurse ) again. To God be the glory! Great and wonderful things He hath done!

God's Enabling Grace

I waited patiently for the Lord; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry. Psalm 40:1For 52 days, Renzo's food goes through a tube inserted in his nose ( NGT ) because his swallowing reflex was too weak. But praise God! After more than 1 month of swallowing tests, 2 weeks ago, Renzo's NGT was finally pulled out because God enabled him to eat normally again..After two months of just lying in bed, he can now sit down for hours,walk without much assistance, and pedal a stationary bicycle during his physical therapy sessions. Praise God for answering our prayers! The glory belongs to Him for all the things that He is doing in this young christian soldier's life.

BLESSED TIME W/A MAN OF GOD VERY DEAR TO RENZO'S HEART

A surprise visit by a special man of God(from the field where Renzo used to serve the Lord with his family) very dear to Renzo's heart last week brought joy and encouragement to Renzo. Pastor Javier's presence and encouragement helped Renzo to accomplish more activities in his physical and occupational therapies though he was

already tired.
Renzo never stop talking about how he misses the brethren & his desire to go back to his beloved mission field during the last four months.Thus, Pastor Javier's visitwas really a great blessing and
comfort.

Walking and Leaping and Praising God!

Walking is just an ordinary activity for almost all of us. We do it almost by reflex. And that is so because our bodies are still strong, healthy and normally functioning. But for Dan Renzo who is being treated for brain tumor located in his cerebellum ( where the control of our body's balance and coordination is ), have undergone 5 head surgeries ( 2 craniectomy, 2 temp.VP Shunting, and 1 permane...nt VP Shunting ) in just a span of 3 months, went into comatose ( GCS3 ) last Sep.6,underwent tracheostomy, been dependent on ventilator for more than a month, and not eating through the mouth for months, being able to sit down on a chair, stand up and take a few steps with little assistance is a big favor from the Lord, a miracle from the One who commanded the man who was sick of the palsy in Mark 2:11, " I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy bed, and go thy way into thine house. Praise God for his goodness and faithfulness in Renzo's life. To God be the glory! Great things He hath done!
